I was at a signing at my first Diru concert back in 2008, where Kaoru and Shinya were there. I've been through such ridiculous shit in my life, including tons of abuse and the like, and Diru has always been something I've used for strength. Nothing feels worse than wanting to express how grateful you are to them for something like that... then being inches from them and having this language barrier (not to mention time limit) between you. I touched Shinya's fingers when I handed over the album and I just couldn't say anything except "Thank you." How small compared to what I wanted to say. It was as heartfelt as humanly possible but it still fell miles short.
